Hey strangers.

As I’m writing this, I just wrapped up celebrations for my mom’s birthday.

She’s with me in Costa Rica which makes it extra special.

I could go on and on, talking about how much of an influence she’s had on me.

And how I wouldn’t be remotely close to who I am today without her.

She’s passed down so much wisdom to me and I wanted to share that with you guys.

I posted a reel on my Instagram with her making a feature in it and she drops some beautiful words of wisdom.

A recent thought that I had is about parenting and how much of a pivotal role it plays in our journey.

We often want to think that we’re self-made and that we did it all ourselves.

And we’re quick to forget the impact that parenting and role modeling has played in our lives.

My mom instilled good values in me for as long as I can remember and I’ve been fortunate enough to take action upon what I’ve learned.

Mom’s are everything and I’m extremely grateful to have her by my side rooting me on at all times.

If you’re reading this then you should go up to your mom or text her and let her know how much you appreciate her.

Because I know I need to do that more often in my everyday life.

Anyway, to recap my week, it was quite an eventful one.

I first started going ATV riding for the first time with strangers who became friends quickly.

To eating some delicious authentic Costa Rican cuisine.

To going to a rodeo and getting into the ring with a bull (I know, crazy).

Lastly, chilling on a boat with friends and enjoying the beautiful weather.

This week was one to remember.

The reason why I titled this newsletter “no risk, no story” is very simple.

It’s because I took tons of risks this week and now I have tons of stories to talk about.

Some were probably not the smartest and quite questionable.

But that’s beside the point.

The point is, that you need to take more risks in your life.

More calculated risks.

Risks in which you know that once you take that leap of faith, the pros will outweigh the cons.

So to start this month, I challenge you to take more risks.

That doesn’t only mean in your business.

It could mean social.

Such as going up to random strangers and sparking up a conversation.

Film content in public and just forget about what people think about you.

Try these new things because you will regret not doing so, I promise you.

Whether that regret comes now or later, that regret will feel a million times worse than the fear of doing that very thing.

Take care and as always ..

Much luv,

Jared
