Yo!

Last week’s newsletter was titled “Stop f*cking wasting time”.

And I was talking all about the topic of deep focus and cutting out all distractions.

It’s a topic that I want to delve into a little more deeper today.

While I also focus on other essential elements of success.

Productivity is simply a byproduct of focus.

If you’re focused, you can be productive.

Without deep focus, it’s almost guaranteed that you will lack productivity in your life.

Before we get into the topic of productivity, let’s define what it is first.

According to Investopedia, productivity is defined as:

“a measure of performance that compares the output of a product with the input, or resources, required to produce it.”

In other words, productivity is simply how much return you receive based on your input (Input / Output)

With that being said, I was just going to tell you to close your eyes.

But then I realized that you won’t be able to read it (lol).

Rather, after reading this newsletter, I want you to close your eyes and envision what I’m about to say

Imagine you tapped into full productivity mode.

With your work, in the gym, within relationships, etc.

In all aspects of your life.

Whatever you told yourself you were going to do, you were not only going to do it but get it done in an extremely efficient manner.

How would that feel?

How would your life look like?

What would you accomplish?

What kind of people would you attract in your life?

If you’re reading this, I’m sure you have a burning desire to do something great in your lifetime.

Whether that may be to build a successful business, make the world a better place, travel the world, etc.

We all have these aspirations.

And most people believe it boils down to simply taking action.

If that was the case then everybody would be doing exceptional things.

Taking action is simply an ingredient.

A very broad ingredient.

Similar to the idea of “hard work” being an ingredient.

It’s not the entire recipe.

To achieve the dreams you want, you have to view success as a 5-course meal.

Within that meal, you have the following:

Hors D’oeuvre: Vision & clarity

Appetizer: Hard work

Salad: Discipline

Main Course: Productivity & focus

Dessert: Networking & connections

All 5 of these courses are essential to achieving the life of your dreams.

I want to briefly discuss each course and explain why I’ve placed each course in a particular order

  1. Vision & clarity

    • The first course as it is the very first step to going anywhere in life

    • Once this is fully integrated into your subconscious, you can move on to the following course

  2. Hard work

    • The course everyone knows and talks about

    • Needed but is a prerequisite before moving on to the main course

  3. Discipline

    • This goes hand-in-hand with discipline (salad served w/ main course)

    • Discipline without action is useless, these two combined with vision & clarity will put you in the driver’s seat on your road to success

  4. Productivity & focus

    • The main course for a reason as you can only eat and digest it once you’ve finished the courses prior

    • In order to be focused and productive, you need to have the foundation

    • You NEED to know what to focus on Ie. What will move the needle? How much deep work on x,y, and z?

  5. Networking & connections

    • This is the course where you get to combine your personality, passions, and ambition all into one

    • It is very much needed and the last core element to success

    • Once you master and can properly enjoy this course, you will be living the life of your dreams

So, my friend, are you going to be mastering the five-course meal to success or not?

Because I sure as hell am.

Not only am I going to master this meal metaphorically but I will be mastering it so I can later on in life, indulge in a real five-course meal.

A meal experienced with friends & family once I’ve truly self-actualized and become as close as possible to my form of self-mastery.

So you do your part, and I’ll do mine.

We’re in this together.

Let’s have a beautiful week ahead.

The sun’s out, birds are chirping as I’m typing this out.

I already feel a winning week ahead for both of us.

Take care and I’ll see you same time next week :)

Much luv,

Jared
